For decades we shared the same passion — Yosemite National Park.
Yosemite Association and The Yosemite Fund were achieving great things in the park. We celebrated the success of many Yosemite 'firsts', like the Fund's world-class restoration of Yosemite Falls Trail, or the Association's "Keep Bears Wild" campaign: educating visitors on bear safety and providing bear-proof canisters. We also knew that by combining our resources we could do so much more, so in January 2010 we merged to create Yosemite Conservancy.
Yosemite Conservancy is now the only philanthropic organization dedicated exclusively to the protection and preservation of Yosemite National Park, and enhancing the visitor experience. We are committed to providing continuity for our supporters and for programs that rely on our funding. Beyond this the Conservancy will use its combined resources to make an even greater impact in areas like trail repair and wildlife preservation. Our unique publications, outdoor education and volunteer programs will continue to grow—providing opportunities for all people to connect with Yosemite.
Working together, and with your support, we can achieve extraordinary things for our park.
